Cupcake an #ootd
Got dressed up because sissy pants wanted to take me for a post birthday lunch. One of my favorite restaurants opened up right outside one of my favorite malls and it was all in all a great afternoon.
I'm wearing my Zara coat (staple), Talula blouse from Aritzia which is like 4 years old now, Forever 21 high waisted pants and black heels.

Winter repair team
Colder months mean dry skin and to prevent that from happening
here are my 4 top products I use:
1. Holiday Berry Cream - Beyond Belief
I walked in to Sally's Beauty Supply just
to browse and by the cashier there was this hand cream...for 2$. I couldn't say
no to it! It smells like Christmas, and festivity and the holidays. It’s a
great little moisturizer and surprising since it was only 2 bucks.
2. Vaseline
I saw a pin on Pinterest about 13 ways to
use Vaseline so I wanted to get the mini tub. Surprisingly there's not an
actual difference I could find between the lip therapy and the original. I
ended up getting the small one and I've been using it a lot, especially around
the sides of my mouth/lip area.
3. Ultra Repair Cream - First Aid Beauty
Best moisturizer! Its semi thick I would
say and it sinks nicely into the sink without the feeling of it drying out too
fast.
4. Blistex
My dry lip go-to saviour! I wear matte
lipsticks all the time so sometimes my lips tend to turn on me. Whenever they
are cracked or extra dry I turn to this to make them better and healed.

Hat's off an #ootd
Hat & Boots, Forever 21; Sweater, H&M; Pants, Loft |
Before I got majorly sick this was a cute little outfit I wore to uni. Really happy with my hat purchase from Forever 21. I also saw a cute navy one at Aldo and I'm not going to lie, I was very tempted.

Toque an #ootd
A mirror OOTD? Leggo.
So long/short story about my cardigan, I
bought it in New York City at Beacon's closet, it’s by Asos, and it was
originally a shirt dress type of thing. After wearing it for a bit in the
summer I thought, this would look so much better as a drape style cardigan
thing. It was easy as taking my seam ripper to the front seam and ripping the
seam out (redundant).
Paired with my H&M 13$ sweater that I
love and that all my friends love and bought multiples of (you know who you
are), my Aritzia leggings, and my TNA toque which was also kind of a daily.
since I sliced off the visor part of it then sewed it up so it would look like
a proper toque.
Sometimes you got to change things up for
the better.
To keep me warm in the cold I got on my
trusty Zara coat and a scarf that my sister gave me which I believe is from
Forever 21.
How’s your weekend going so far?

Virtual Domination, seriously
Since the holidays have rolled around I took it upon myself to grab a treat before it was too late.
I'm obsessed with Nars blushes, I own 3 already and I just finished my Laguna bronzer. The reason I invested in this palette was because not only does it come with Laguna, but the other four blush shades (3 blush, 1 highlight) I don't own! Most of the palettes Nars has come out with I feel like I already own a shade so there isn't any use in buying it in another palette (like Desire I feel is always in a blush palette but I own the individual version) or it comes with Orgasm. I don't like the color of Orgasm or Super orgasm, I think its way WAY too shimmery, but maybe I just feel like that because I’m a matte finish type of gal.
This palette is amazing, you're getting your complete money's worth because all the pans are basically the same size if they would be sold separately. Because I enjoy a matte finish I don't use Miss Liberty to highlight, I use it as an eye-shadow. It works amazing, there is no fall-out and it just looks great on the eyelids. I've even gotten a few compliments on it.
So happy I got my hands on this, such a great investment!
Have you looked at this palette or tried any Nars cheek products lately?

chestnut praline latte CPL an #ootd
Guess Pleather Jacket; H&M Top; Aritzia Leggings; Forever 21 Boots; Kate Spade Wallet |
The release of the CPL has changed the holiday season for me. I'm not huge on all the fall Starbucks drinks, but all the winter drinks I love! If you haven't tried this drink...well do it. Keeping it casual with a sparkly top and a pleather jacket.

Skin
A long long time ago I wrote a post about my best concealer ever which was the Glamoflauge by Hard Candy. I haven't bought any other cover up because this one was so amazing. After realizing that I have had this one make up item for almost 2 years I thought it was about time to toss it.
Casually strolling through Walmart I see a
new concealer product, one end corrector and the other concealer. I bought it
and I love it even more then the Glamoflauge. The Glamoflauge Lite is lighter
in weight, more blendable and much easier to work with. It's completely
replaced my old concealer.
Some days, if I’m feeling like not wearing
cover up I’ll use a little bit of Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous under my
eyes. It’s almost like a tinted moisturizer so it’s super minimal and great for
lazy days.
A little bit of GLAM Lite, Verve by MAC on my lips, and Telescopic mascara |

Baby, it's cold out an #ootd
Hello all,
Winter quickly approached and all I've been wearing is my Zara coat, it's simple and classic looking, and black, so it goes with everything.
I've kept my knit head accessories in a drawer I don't go into often but, I took out this knot style band to keep my little noggin toasty.
My friend who's a year ahead of me in my fashion degree program ( http://kateandkouture.weebly.com ) Made this lovely scarf that I am sporting in the photos above. When she starts to sell them i'll make a post all about it!

Nasty Gal lipstick by MAC
Hello friends,
In extreme style I'm blogging fashionably late.
I have managed to make it though another semester of my high active and intense fashion degree. Earlier this past winter (crunch time at Uni) I ended up catching a bug & missed quite a bit of school and it felt like running a marathon trying to catch up to all the work i'd missed. Good news is that i'm almost 100% and I've finally caught up on the things that I had missed and finished this semester!
It was also my birthday this past week so I treated myself to the three Nasty Gal Mac Lipsticks. Just about screeched when I got the mail. Thought I would do a little review because doesn't the world wide web need another?
Stunner
The bright, red, is basically like Ruby Woo (the greatest red
ever) and because I was running quite low on Ruby Woo I decided to put this in
my basket. It’s stunning and basically the same, and so perfect for Christmas.
Runner
The perfect dark red. (Similar to Diva)
Gunner
This is the showstopper, the perfect purple, I tried searching for
a dark purple lipstick in the summer, I didn't want to buy a color that looks
like black because that's a little too Gothic for my liking. In the summer I
ended up buying the Sephora cream lip stain in 07 and although I love it, it
has a little metallic shimmer to it. Gunner is the perfect dark purple, it
doesn't look black and it's not pinky what-so-ever. If I only had to buy one
out of this collection, this would be it!
Sophia Amoruso is such a power house |
Okay, time to schedule some posts this week and catch up on all the blogging i've missed
